Meet the Leader…
“My name is Janelle Greene and part of my job is to run the Kidsgate program at Eastgate. I have been in charge of this program since June 2011. Although I have been doing this for over 10 years, I find myself learning new ways to interact with the kids, to teach about God, to engage with our amazing volunteers, and more.
At Eastgate we believe that teaching children is the cutting edge of outreach. There is nothing like getting to share the gospel with someone who doesn’t know it yet. There is nothing like watching a child’s face light up when they understand that God truly loves them. There is nothing like the life, energy, and chaos that only is found working with kids.
Part of my job is to write the curriculum, find volunteers, train teachers, and sometimes fill in as a sub on Sunday mornings. Please feel free to use the contact information provided to reach out if you would like to learn more or have any questions. We are always looking for volunteers, so please consider signing up if you are interested.”

About Kidsgate…
We offer classrooms for infants through 5th grade in small group settings. Classrooms open a few minutes before church starts and volunteers are ready to teach them a Bible based lesson.
The Kidsgate curriculum that is used is written by Eastgate staff. This was created out of a need for affordable Sunday school curriculum that provided real life application for students of all ages. Our goal is to create Bible based teachings that are presented in a way that is not only understandable for kids, but also encourages them to begin thinking through Christian concepts for themselves.
